For many of us, our bikes are used for both street and touring. We like to get our rides a little dusty – finding new trails or blazing our own. Sometimes we like to take a quick trip to the store and don’t want to take the car, what of it?

The Renthal 520 Twinring Heavy-Duty Rear Sprocket is the longest-lasting, most durable, off-road sprocket on the market today. If you want to keep your Suzuki trail ready – this sprocket not only provides protection, but is built to endure even the toughest rides. The Inner Ring of the sprocket is high grade Ultralight 7075 T6 aluminium. The Outer ring is Electroless Nickel Coated steel. The Outer Ring is then expanded at 200°C, and then fitted to the Inner Ring. This process creates a permanent, long-lasting bond for the life life of the sprocket.

Yes, a bigger sprocket makes for more horsepower and changes the way your bike puts power to the ground, but there are a variety of factors that can effect this. Gearing a bike up to produce higher top speeds with less acceleration is done using a larger countershaft ( or, gearbox) sprocket, or a smaller rear sprocket, again, affecting your DR-Z400 a little differently as well.

The composite materials in the Renthal 520 Twinring Heavy-Duty Rear Sprocket make for a lighter feel, (great for racing) without having to sacrifice power or durability. Aluminium sprockets just do not compare to this twinring.

Check out some of the specs below.
